Character Contest?

I have found that I NEVER use any of my characters, so I might wipe out all my OC's I have now and start a list of new ones. I'll keep like three or four that i love dearly though. (ivy, zenith, Ivan and midnight) It's not that I'm going to just trash them, I'm just going to put them in a folder titled old OC's and I may or may not draw/use them often. Sad, I know, but I want new, more exciting characters, so I may start a contest! If I get more than five people who would consider joining, I'll start thinking up of a new contest. So....tell me your thoughts! Would you be interested or not?
